Great to meet you!

Hello, my name is Jennifer and I think counseling can be a powerful tool in helping people develop, grow, and heal. I particularly enjoy working with people struggling with relationship issues and impacts from having ADHD.

I earned a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Missouri State University in 2023 and I'm a National Certified Counselor.

Clients usually find me warm, hard working, and curious. I work with adults on a range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, self-esteem, grief, life transitions, career struggles, cultural adaptation, women's issues, and LGBTQ+ affirmative care.

I draw from a range of evidence-based modalities, including person-centered therapy, psychodynamic therapy, and trauma-informed methods like EMDR.

My approach to therapy

My approach is warm, non-judgmental, and relational because healing happens in connection, not just in understanding. I use evidence-based methods to help clients reach their goals. It is important to me that you feel respected in our relationship and we can be partners on your journey toward living a healthier, happier and more peaceful life.

What you can expect from me

In our first session I will ask you what you are hoping to get out of our sessions and what brings you into counseling at this point in time. I will be curious about your history, your overall health, and your hopes for the future so we can come up with a plan to help you meet your goals.
