Great to meet you!

Hi there. My name is Jen, and I'm a licensed therapist. I work with children, teens, and adults. I know life can feel overwhelming at times, and you don't have to figure it all out on your own. I offer a warm, nonjudgmental space where we can talk through what's going on, and find practical ways to help you feel better.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is wam, supportive, and down-to-earth. I strive to create a space where you feel safe, understood, and comfortable being yourself. We'll work together to make sense of what's going on and find practical ways to implement skills to empower you in your day-to-day life. I use tools from CBT, DBT, and trauma-informed care, while always tailoring our work to what feels most helpful for you.

What you can expect from me

Starting therapy can feel like a big step, and it's completely normal to feel a little nervous. You don't have to have everything figured out. I will guide you through the process. In our first session, we will focus on getting to know each other and understanding what's bringing you to therapy. I'll ask some questions to get a sense of your background, current challenges, and goals. We will move at a pace that is comfortable for you, and by the end of the session, we'll begin to outline a path for you to move forward.
