Great to meet you!

If you’re here, you may be feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, or stuck—often while still functioning well on the outside. Many adults I work with notice these struggles showing up in close relationships, family dynamics, or how they relate to themselves.

I am a doctoral-prepared, board-certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner and therapist providing therapy and medication management for adults.

My work focuses on helping you make sense of what’s going on underneath the symptoms and what to do next, in a way that feels clear, respectful, and individualized.

I take time to understand the full picture—your experiences, relationships, patterns, and stressors—rather than rushing to conclusions or solutions. Medication is never the default in my practice and is explored carefully, with honesty, and choice, when it may be helpful.

I integrate a range of approaches based on each person’s needs, including attachment-based, somatic, inner-child, CBT, DBT, talk therapy, hypnotherapy, and Reiki. Sessions are tailored to you, rather than a fixed formula, with attention to how emotional experiences are felt and lived, not just understood.

I work with adults from many walks of life, including women navigating relationship patterns, individuals with trauma histories such as veterans and first responders, and parents seeking support for teenage girls and young women. Early support can shape how young women relate to themselves and others later in life.

You don’t need to have everything figured out to begin. This work is about gaining clarity, understanding yourself more deeply, and exploring next steps at a pace that feels right for you.

What you can expect from me

It’s common to feel a mix of curiosity, hope, and nervousness before a first session—whether this is your first time seeking care or you’ve worked with a therapist or provider before and are wondering how this will feel.

You don’t need to prepare anything in advance. The first session is primarily an evaluation, which means I’ll ask questions to understand the full picture—your concerns, history, relationships, and what you’re hoping for now. This can feel like a lot of questions at first, but we move at your pace, and you’re always welcome to pause, ask questions, or share what’s important to you.

My role is to guide the conversation, listen carefully, and create a space where you can settle in and be yourself. Many clients share that partway through the session they begin to feel more relaxed and often leave feeling clearer or lighter than when they arrived.

Whether you’re continuing your healing journey or starting something new, the goal of the first session is to help you feel understood, answer your questions, and begin identifying what might help—now and moving forward.
