Great to meet you!

I’m Jennifer Sosa, a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with over six years of experience in California’s mental health sector. As a bilingual clinician, I provide therapy in English and Spanish to individuals, children, couples, and families. I prioritize creating a safe, empathetic space that respects personal and cultural values. My goal is to empower clients through open communication and a non-judgmental approach, supporting them in their journey of self-discovery and growth.

My approach to therapy

My focus is to create a warm and supportive space where clients feel comfortable exploring and processing their life experiences. Aiming to provide therapy that addresses the needs of clients, my therapeutic approach consists of utilizing Client-Centered Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Narrative Therapy.

What you can expect from me

My goal is to highlight your strengths, foster growth, and create a supportive space to explore your story. Together, we’ll build inner resilience and increase self-awareness to inspire positive changes. In our first session, we’ll review key therapy procedures, including safety and confidentiality, and explore the challenges that brought you here. This will help craft a personalized plan meet your goals. Each session will focus on what matters most to you in your journey of self-discovery.
