Great to meet you!

I am an open-minded licensed professional counselor that believes in utilizing an initial person-centered approach to building rapport to develop an individual plan for treatment. With my background in community counseling I acknowledge the need to link mind, body and spirit as an overall healing process. I specialize with the mental health population associated with various life stages. I myself have overcome trauma and worked through various issues in counseling which made me a stronger counselor empathizing with my client.

My approach to therapy

I use different approaches based on the individual need including cognitive-behavioral therapy ( trauma based at times), DBT and solution focused to address certain issues such as with family dynamics.

What you can expect from me

I attempt to have each client leaving the sessions with a secure feeling that confidentiality will always be maintained and with established rapport for trust within the working relationship.
