Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Jennifer. I enjoy working with people of all ages who are trying to make sense of life’s changes, relationships, school or work pressures, family stressors to include adoptive families (adoption competent), and other situations that can be overwhelming at times. It’s not unusual to feel stuck, misunderstood, or unsure about how to move forward — especially when you’re in a tough season in life. If you’re looking for support, clarity, and a space where your experiences are taken seriously, you’re in the right place.

My approach to therapy

My approach is warm, down-to-earth, and respectful — clients describe me as easy to talk to, attentive, and genuinely supportive. I aim to create a space where you feel safe to be honest about what’s going on for you, even when it feels messy. We’ll explore what’s been hard, notice your strengths, and look for practical ways to make life feel more manageable and purposeful. I believe that understanding yourself better can be one of the most empowering parts of this work.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, we’ll focus on what brought you in and what you’re hoping to work on. You can expect a calm, judgment-free conversation where you get to share your story at your own pace. From there, we’ll talk about what feels most important to you and how we might work together — whether that’s building confidence, managing stress or emotions, improving relationships, or finding your footing during big transitions. Over time, many young people notice they feel more grounded, more in control of their choices, and more hopeful about what comes next.
