I have extensive experience supporting adults navigating ADHD, autism (including late-identified or questioning), OCD, anxiety, depression, trauma (including complex trauma), grief, chronic illness, identity exploration, disordered eating, life transitions, relationship and intimacy concerns, low self-esteem, family conflict, work or school stress, sleep challenges, and cultural stressors such as minority stress, acculturation, oppression, intergenerational trauma, systemic barriers, and mental health stigma.
In terms of therapeutic modalities, I tailor treatment for each and every client to meet their unique needs, preferences, and strengths. I frequently integrate approaches such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT).
My work with neurodivergent adults often includes burnout recovery planning, reducing internalized ableism and shame, unmasking support, sensory regulation and overload prevention, energy budgeting, psychoeducation, cultivating strengths, and advocacy for accommodations. I also find coaching approaches highly effective for many neurodivergent clients- including life, dating/relationships, intimacy, executive functioning, career/vocational, daily living skills, social skills, accountability, and academic.
Areas of support for LGBTQIA+ adults have been: overall mental health care, navigating transition, gender exploration and dysphoria, coming out, ethical non-monogamy, kink, community-building, gender-affirming surgery, relationship support, and relocation from more conservative environments.
