Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m glad you’re here. I’ve been a social worker for over 20 years and have had the privilege of working with both children and adults, including individuals involved in the justice system. I earned my master’s degree from the University of Wisconsin, and for the past several years I’ve continued building a practice centered on compassion, growth, and meaningful change.

I enjoy helping clients better understand themselves, navigate life’s challenges, and build practical tools for moving forward. My work is grounded in cognitive behavioral therapy, empowerment, and collaboration, and I strive to create a space where you feel supported, respected, and understood.

My approach to therapy

My approach is warm, collaborative, and solution-focused. I believe therapy works best when you feel heard and validated, so I take time to listen closely and understand your goals. From there, we work together to identify patterns, build coping strategies, and create meaningful change.

I often use cognitive behavioral therapy to help clients better understand the connection between their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. My goal is to support you in finding clarity, building confidence, and creating a life that feels more manageable and fulfilling.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is a chance for us to get to know each other and begin building a foundation for our work together. I’ll spend time learning more about you, what brings you to therapy, and what goals you’d like to work toward.

You can expect a supportive, judgment-free space where you can share at your own pace. Together, we’ll start identifying what you’d like to gain, change, or strengthen, and we’ll talk about what healing and progress can look like for you.
