Great to meet you!

Hello and welcome. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor providing telehealth therapy in Arizona and Iowa with over 20 years of experience in mental health services.

I work with adults who are carrying a lot—professionals, parents, caregivers, and high achievers who often feel overwhelmed despite appearing capable and successful on the outside. Many come to therapy struggling with anxiety, depression, ADHD, chronic health challenges, burnout, relationship stress, or a persistent sense that they're never doing enough.

My approach is trauma-informed, person-centered, and collaborative. Together, we'll explore the patterns that keep you feeling stuck, whether that's perfectionism, people-pleasing, self-criticism, difficulty setting boundaries, or the impact of past experiences. I help clients build practical skills for managing emotions, reducing stress, improving relationships, and developing a stronger sense of self-trust and self-worth.

Life can feel especially exhausting when you're constantly meeting everyone else's needs while trying to hold everything together. Therapy offers a space where you don't have to do that alone. My goal is to help you feel more grounded, confident, and connected to yourself so you can navigate life's challenges with greater clarity and resilience.

I strive to keep my availability up to date across platforms. Because scheduling is managed through my SimplePractice calendar, appointment requests will be confirmed to ensure the selected time is still available. Additionally, feel free to reach out for further availability.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is warm, collaborative, and tailored to your unique needs. I use evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing, mindfulness, and trauma-informed, person-centered care.

In our work together, we’ll slow things down and make space to understand what’s contributing to your symptoms. I’ll support you in building practical coping skills, increasing self-awareness, and developing more supportive ways of thinking and responding to life’s challenges.

I see therapy as a partnership—we’ll work together to create a pace and plan that feels realistic, supportive, and meaningful for you.

My goal is to help you feel more grounded, more confident in your choices, and better able to navigate life with clarity and balance.

You’re welcome to schedule an initial session, and feel free to reach out if you need help finding a time that works for you.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, we’ll focus on getting to know you and what’s bringing you to therapy. You’ll have space to share your experiences, current challenges, and what you’re hoping for moving forward—at your own pace.

I’ll ask some questions to better understand your background, stressors, and goals, and together we’ll begin identifying what support might look like for you. We’ll also talk through any questions you have about the therapy process so you can feel comfortable and informed.

By the end of the session, we’ll start to outline a plan that feels manageable and aligned with your needs.

My goal is for you to leave feeling heard, supported, and with a clearer sense of direction for our work together.

Feel free to schedule an initial session and do not hesitate to reach out if you need assistance in finding a time that works for you !
