With almost 20 years of experience working with children and adolescents as a Licensed Social Worker, I have come to truly recognize what our children are up against in the current state of the world. Between social media, television, and access to anything with the click of a button, our children are exposed to so much a lot earlier. Anxiety among children is on the rise as a result. So many parents are struggling to deal with this reality while trying to help their children simply cope, be a good friend, and make good choices. This can be an overwhelming task and I am here to help!

Holding a position as a School Social Worker for the last 17 years has afforded me the opportunity to counsel children with Autism, ADHD, ODD, Anxiety, Attachment disorder, Impulse control issues, school refusal, and more. With a strong awareness of how to navigate the school system, I can assist in making sure your child is getting what they need.

Providing a safe, calm, and comfortable space for my clients is a priority. Therapy can be intimidating especially through young eyes. With a down to earth environment, I will meet your child where they are. Whether they require acquisition of coping, social, or impulse control skills, an eclectic approach will be used to help them be their best self!
