Great to meet you!

I am a licensed professional counselor (LPC), licensed addiction counselor (LAC), and registered Dance/Movement Therapist (R-DMT). I take a whole-body, person-centered, and strengths-based approach to counseling and utilize a variety of modalities to address the unique needs of clients. I strive to create a welcoming and judgement free space to help you find healing, resilience, and personal growth. I have worked in a variety of mental health settings and I am passionate about helping others navigate and rise above life’s challenges.

My approach to therapy

As a somatic (body) psychotherapist, my lens for therapy is on the mind-body connection. So much of mental health focuses on the mind while often ignoring the body. I help guide clients in improving body awareness, connecting to emotions stored in the body, and approaching challenges with curiosity and self-compassion.

What you can expect from me

During the first session, we will go over needs for counseling, your history with mental health therapy, and create a treatment plan outline. I will provide information on somatic therapy and additional therapeutic tools. I encourage all of my clients to ask questions and stress that this process is about collaboration.
