Great to meet you!

I believe meaningful change begins when we are willing to lean into the “uncomfortably comfy” places, the honest, vulnerable, and sometimes messy spaces where healing, growth, and connection can begin.

I provide virtual therapy for teens, adults, couples, and families in South Carolina and Colorado. My specialties include ADHD, autism, AuDHD, OCD, anxiety, depression, trauma/PTSD, relationship challenges, parenting stress, and supporting first responders and their families.

My approach is warm, active, experiential, and neurodiversity-affirming. I use a bottom-up approach that considers the nervous system, emotions, body-based responses, and lived experiences, not just thoughts or behaviors. Together, we slow down what is happening beneath the surface, identify patterns that may be keeping you stuck, and better understand what your system may be trying to protect you from.

Rather than forcing change all at once, we focus on small, realistic steps that fit your life and capacity. We explore where your strengths already exist, build on what is working, and develop practical tools that support regulation, communication, confidence, and connection.

My lived understanding of AuDHD, experience within a neurodivergent family, and previous work in corrections bring added insight to the challenges many clients face. These experiences support my clinical work while allowing the focus to remain on your needs, goals, and unique story.

Even though therapy is virtual, sessions are collaborative, connected, and focused on meaningful change. My style is down-to-earth, honest, and affirming. Together, we lean into the difficult places with compassion and curiosity, creating room for lasting change, growth, healing, and connection.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is bottom-up, experiential, and attachment-based. This means we don’t just talk about what is happening. We also pay attention to what shows up in the body, emotions, nervous system, and relationships in real time.

In virtual therapy, I work to create a space that still feels connected, grounded, and active. Online sessions can be deeply effective when we slow the process down, stay present with what is happening in the moment, and use the screen as a bridge rather than a barrier. I use reflection, body awareness, emotional tracking, relational patterns, practical tools, and real-time nervous system regulation to help clients feel supported and engaged, even from their own space.

My goal is to help clients move beyond simply understanding their patterns and begin experiencing change in a way that feels meaningful, safe, and lasting. Together, we create space to notice what is happening internally, shift long-standing responses, and build more capacity for connection, regulation, and growth from the inside out.

My style is collaborative, grounded, and real. I believe growth often happens in the uncomfortably comfy places—the honest and vulnerable spaces where we can gently stay present with what feels hard while moving toward clarity, connection, and change.

What you can expect from me

Starting therapy can feel vulnerable, especially if opening up does not come easily or you are used to carrying things on your own. In our first session, you can expect a grounded, welcoming conversation where we begin slowly and gently. You do not have to come in knowing exactly what to say, where to start, or how to explain everything perfectly. We will take our time.

The first session is a chance for us to begin getting to know each other and to create a clearer picture of what has been feeling hard, overwhelming, disconnected, or stuck. While it is also an assessment, my goal is for it to feel human, collaborative, and safe not clinical, rushed, or judgmental. We will talk about what brings you in, what you have been carrying, what has helped or not helped in the past, and what you are hoping may feel different.

As we build the therapeutic relationship, we will also begin identifying goals that feel realistic and meaningful for you. Therapy is not about forcing you to go somewhere you are not ready to go. It is about creating enough safety and trust to slowly explore the deeper patterns, emotions, relationships, and experiences that may be impacting your life.

You can also expect to begin learning tools and skills early on, so therapy feels supportive right away not just something that stays in conversation. Together, we may work on emotional regulation, nervous system awareness, communication, coping skills, relationship patterns, and ways to feel more connected to yourself and others.

My hope is that you feel met with honesty, warmth, curiosity, and care. We will move at a pace that honors your readiness while gently leaning into the uncomfortably comfy places where healing, growth, connection, and real change can begin.
