Great to meet you!

I received my training at Columbia University's renowned School of Nursing and graduated with a doctorate as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner. I have specialized training in understanding trauma based disorders, mood disorders, and a particular interest in the intersection between mental and physical health.

My approach to therapy

I believe in finding common ground with clients and getting to know them as human beings as we work on any psychiatric or psychosocial issues. I work hard to create a collaborative partnership in which the client feels that their concerns are truly heard and addressed. I take a therapeutic approach even within the context of medication management appointments.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect to come away with a clear understanding of how I conceive of their diagnosis and what options exist for treatment. Too many people do not get to hear about or have input into their diagnosis or treatment plans and I aim to provide education and skills as well as medication and therapeutic interaction.
