Great to meet you!

I am a first-generation student who completed my Masters degree in 2017, from the University of Houston. I became an LMSW in 2017 and quickly began working toward my clinical license while gaining experience in hospital counseling, crisis intervention, skills training through a community program for children/adolescents, and in higher education. I opened my own private practice in 2021, and became a clinical supervisor in 2023. I have since pursued additional trainings and certifications in somatic therapy, motivational interviewing, mindfulness, parenting techniques, peripartum/postpartum, walk & talk, animal assisted therapy, and others!

My approach to therapy

Therapy with me is real, direct, and grounded in cultura. I understand the unique pressures that come with navigating two worlds, breaking cycles, and carrying the hopes of those who came before you. I work primarily with young adults who are ready to do the deep work it takes to heal—and I believe in moving toward change sooner rather than later.

Think of me as your big sister in therapy: I’ll tell you the truth, hold you accountable, and challenge you—while still creating a safe and supportive space to unpack what’s on your mind. My goal isn’t just to help you cope, but to help you thrive, so you can live life on your terms and not by the scripts you were handed. Together, we’ll identify patterns, build practical tools, and create the kind of generational shift that not only impacts you, but those around you.

What you can expect from me

We will first complete a free 15 minute consultation, to see if we could potentially be a good match. After this, we will schedule our first intake session where I can get more background information from you, you can share your counseling goals, we set a treatment plan, and you have an opportunity to ask me questions as well. After this, healing and therapy can begin!
