Great to meet you!

I am a licensed professional counselor in Texas with over 30 years of experience working with children, tweens, teens, and families. Throughout my career, I’ve had the privilege of supporting individuals and families as they build stronger connections and foster lasting change through evidence-based approaches.

My work is grounded in proven modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Attachment Theory, and Self-Compassion, among others. I tailor each approach to meet the unique needs of the people I work with, always with the goal of creating meaningful and transformative outcomes.

It is an honor to walk alongside individuals and families on their healing journey—and to witness the power of connection in action.

My approach to therapy

At the heart of my work is the belief that healing begins with connection. I prioritize creating a safe, supportive space where you feel seen, heard, and respected—just as you are. Together, we build a strong therapeutic relationship that becomes the foundation for growth and change.

I aim to help you uncover and build on the strengths and inner resources you already possess. This strengths-based approach empowers you to navigate challenges with greater resilience and confidence.

Throughout our work, I gently guide you toward cultivating self-compassion—an essential ingredient for healing. By learning to treat yourself with the same kindness and understanding you offer others, you can begin to shift old patterns, ease self-criticism, and foster deeper emotional wellbeing.

Whether you're navigating a tough season or seeking long-term growth, I’m here to walk alongside you with curiosity, care, and compassion.

What you can expect from me

From the moment we begin working together, my goal is to create a space where you feel supported, respected, and genuinely cared for. Whether you're seeking support for yourself or your child, you can expect a collaborative, compassionate approach rooted in connection.

When working with children and teens, I believe that healing and growth are most effective when the whole family is supported. I partner closely with parents and caregivers throughout the process—offering insight, guidance, and tools to help strengthen relationships and support your child’s emotional wellbeing.

For adults, I offer a non-judgmental and empowering space where you can explore your experiences openly and honestly. Together, we’ll work toward clarity, healing, and meaningful change—at your own pace and in a way that feels right for you.

No matter where you are on your journey, I’m here to walk alongside you with compassion, curiosity, and care.
