Great to meet you!

Does life feel out of control? Is there too much conflict in your life? Do you feel overwhelmed by responsibilities? Is it hard to get out of bed some days? If you have been through a traumatic experience, whether that’s the death of a loved one, accident, divorce, loss of a job, or many other difficult experiences, life can feel too hard. Anxiety and depression seem to take over.

Jennifer Gross, LCSW, ACHP-SW, ASW-G, is a licensed clinical social worker dedicated to supporting individuals, couples, service members, veterans, and their families through life’s most challenging experiences. She brings extensive expertise in trauma-focused care, grief counseling, and evidence-based psychotherapies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and interventions for Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD).

With advanced certification in hospice and palliative care, Jennifer also works with individuals and families coping with serious or life-limiting illnesses, including cancer. She understands the emotional, relational, and existential challenges that accompany both military service and significant health changes, and she provides a safe, compassionate space for clients to process their experiences.

Drawing on years of clinical leadership and direct care, Jennifer is committed to fostering resilience, strengthening relationships, and empowering clients to navigate transitions with dignity, courage, and hope.

My approach to therapy

You need a counselor that is compassionate, understanding, and yet practical. While it is so important to find someone that you can talk things through with, you’ll feel better faster if you can take what you’ve learned about yourself in your session and expand on that with worksheets and other activities you do at home.

What you can expect from me

From the moment you schedule your first appointment with me, you’ll find me honest, compassionate, and professional. I will create a warm, welcoming, nonjudgmental space for you to heal and grow. Together we will find a solution that will work for you so you can thrive. Schedule your first appointment today.
