Great to meet you!

I’m a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in Tennessee and have a full-time private practice where I work with adults navigating anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, and the emotional impact of unhealthy or high-conflict relationships. I’m especially interested in helping people understand the patterns that shape their relationships and emotional well-being, including difficulties with boundaries, self-confidence, and feeling stuck in situations they want to change. My background in marriage and family therapy has shaped the way I look at both the individual and the relationships and systems around them. I keep my caseload intentionally small so I can be fully present and engaged with each person I work with. I genuinely enjoy getting to know my clients and helping them make sense of what they’re experiencing, find their footing, and move toward greater emotional well-being and healthier relationships.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is compassionate, collaborative, and focused on helping you move toward the life you want to live. Whether you’re struggling with anxiety or depression, feeling stuck in unhealthy patterns, or experiencing relationship difficulties that are affecting your emotional well-being, I want our work together to be practical and meaningful. I’ll listen closely, help you gain clarity about what’s contributing to your distress, and offer guidance and practical suggestions that align with your goals. I won’t tell you what you should do, but I also won’t simply sit back and listen if I see an opportunity to help you move forward. Together, we can work on reducing anxiety and depression, building confidence, developing healthier patterns, strengthening boundaries, and improving the way you navigate relationships. My goal is to help you understand yourself more deeply, feel more capable in your choices, and make meaningful progress toward greater emotional well-being and the life you want for yourself.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is an opportunity for us to get to know each other and for you to tell me what brings you to therapy and what you’d like to be different in your life. I’ll ask questions about what you’ve been experiencing, how it’s affecting you and your relationships, and what you’re hoping to get from therapy. I’ll also share my perspective and begin helping us identify the patterns or concerns that may be contributing to your anxiety, depression, or relationship difficulties. You don’t need to have everything figured out before you come in—we’ll make sense of it together. Most importantly, I want you to feel comfortable being yourself and to get a sense of whether my approach feels like a good fit for you. From our first session, we’ll begin creating a direction for our work together.
