Great to meet you!

I believe that meaningful therapy begins with feeling seen, understood, and safe, so I want to share a bit about who I am and how I work. I am currently a doctoral student in clinical psychology (PsyD), and I also hold a master’s degree in counseling. My training has included work in a variety of clinical settings, where I’ve had the opportunity to support individuals navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, and relationship challenges. At the core of my work is the belief that people are incredibly resilient, even when it doesn’t feel that way. My goal is to create a space where you feel comfortable being your authentic self, while also gently challenging and supporting you toward growth.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is compassionate, collaborative, and grounded in evidence-based practices. I often draw from modalities such as psychodynamic, cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), trauma-informed care, and attachment-based perspectives. I deeply value understanding your unique story including how past experiences, family dynamics, and culture may shape your present challenges.

I have experience working with children, adolescents, and adults, and I especially enjoy supporting individuals who are exploring who they are at their core, healing from trauma, or working through patterns that feel difficult to change. I also have experience conducting psychological and psychoeducational assessments, which allows me to bring a deeper understanding of learning, attention, and emotional functioning into my work.

What you can expect from me

You can expect the first session to feel like a comfortable, low-pressure conversation where we begin getting to know each other. I’ll ask about what’s bringing you in, your current concerns, and any relevant background to better understand your experiences. There’s no expectation to share everything at once as we move at your pace.

We’ll also talk about your goals for therapy and what you’re hoping to get out of the process. I’ll explain how I work, answer any questions you have, and make sure you feel informed and supported. Most importantly, my focus is on creating a safe, nonjudgmental space where you feel heard and understood from the very beginning.
