Great to meet you!

I understand that dealing with ADHD, difficulty managing emotions, anger, relationship challenges, or simply feeling misunderstood can be exhausting. Life can feel especially overwhelming when you're navigating changes at home or school, struggling with friendships, or experiencing the world differently from those around you. You don't have to go through it alone.

With over 16 years of experience working with adolescents and supporting families, I have a passion for helping young people navigate life's challenges. I have experience working with teens who are neurodivergent and individuals with intellectual disabilities, and I understand that every person's experiences and challenges are unique.

My goal is to help clients identify strategies and tools that genuinely fit their needs and lives. I also enjoy supporting parents and families as they navigate the ups and downs that can come with adolescence. Together, we can work toward greater understanding, stronger relationships, and positive growth.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is warm, collaborative, and client-centered. I believe there is no one-size-fits-all approach because every client has different experiences, strengths, and needs. I work alongside my clients to help them better understand themselves, identify their goals, and develop practical strategies they can use in everyday life.

I strive to create a relaxed, supportive, and judgment-free environment where adolescents feel comfortable being themselves. Whether you're struggling with big emotions, ADHD, anger, school stress, relationships, family conflict, or feeling misunderstood, we can work together to find strategies that work for you.

I also believe that when appropriate, involving and supporting parents and families can be an important part of the process. My goal is to help families better understand one another and develop tools that can support growth both inside and outside of therapy.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is an opportunity for us to get to know each other and begin building a comfortable, trusting relationship. You can expect a welcoming, relaxed, and judgment-free environment where you can share as much or as little as you feel comfortable with.

We'll talk about what brought you to therapy, the challenges you're currently experiencing, and what you hope to gain from our time together. There is no pressure to have everything figured out or know exactly what to say—I'll help guide the conversation.

Together, we'll begin identifying your goals and discussing ways therapy can support you. My goal is for you to leave your first session feeling heard, understood, and hopeful about the next steps. Therapy is a collaborative process, and we'll work together at a pace that feels comfortable for you.
