Great to meet you!

As a Licensed Professional Counselor with over 10 years of experience, I have learned that people are more complicated than a diagnosis, a history, or a list of things that have gone "wrong." Therapy should be a place where you can be honest, curious, and fully yourself. You shouldn't have to worry about saying the 'right thing', or knowing exactly what you want out of the experience.

My approach to therapy

My style is honest, inquisitive, compassionate, and down-to-earth. I want to understand what is actually happening in your life and work with you to figure out what might make it better. Change rarely happens in a straight line. Sometimes progress is a major breakthrough; sometimes it’s simply getting through a difficult day without making things worse-both count. I believe there is room for humor in therapy. Life can be heavy enough, and sometimes laughter can create space to breathe, connect, and see things from a different perspective.

What you can expect from me

I encourage you to bring your authentic self and let me meet you where you are. Our first session will be an opportunity for you to share what feels comfortable, and find out if you think we are a good match. Having a therapist that fits your vibe is crucial to building rapport and creating a foundation for meaningful change.
