Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Jennifer Haynes, LMHC, a Florida Licensed Mental Health Counselor and Florida Qualified Supervisor (LMHC). I specialize in helping clients who feel overwhelmed, reactive, stuck, or emotionally drained build stability through skills-based, trauma-informed therapy.

My work integrates DBT skills, neuroscience-informed psychotherapy, and evidence-informed strategies to improve emotional regulation, reduce anxiety and triggers, strengthen boundaries, and support healthier relationships. I also have specialized training in personality disorder treatment, anger management, advanced grief counseling, and parent coaching, with an added focus on the mind–body connection (sleep, stress, and nutrition-informed mental wellness).

My style is warm, direct, and collaborative—focused on real tools and measurable progress. I offer individual therapy, closed groups (5–8 members), and therapy intensives for deeper targeted work.

My approach to therapy

My approach blends trauma-informed care, DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy) skills, and neuroscience-informed psychotherapy to help clients build emotional stability, improve communication and boundaries, reduce reactivity, and strengthen self-trust. Therapy with me is practical and goal-directed—focused on helping you understand what’s happening beneath the surface and giving you tools you can use in everyday life.

I have advanced training and certifications in trauma treatment, DBT, anger management, advanced grief counseling, parent training, neuropsychotherapy, mental health and nutrition, and personality disorder treatment. I also bring a neurocriminology-informed lens that supports deeper understanding of behavior patterns, risk factors, and sustainable change.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect to establish stability, and happiness with my individualized specialization and approach that specifically is designed for each client uniquely.
