Great to meet you!

I have been a licensed therapist for 12 years. My educational background includes a Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from Bethel University and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology with an Emphasis in Marriage and Family from Northwestern College.

My approach to therapy

I work with individuals experiencing relationship challenges, anxiety, depression, and other difficult life circumstances. I like to take the time to understand the broader context of my clients’ lives, including their personal histories and current stressors, so we can identify meaningful patterns and work toward lasting change.

My approach is collaborative and integrative, drawing from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Attachment Theory, and Family Systems perspectives. Together, we work to increase clarity, strengthen coping skills, and support growth in the areas of life that matter most to you.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, you can expect a supportive, collaborative environment where you are invited to share what brings you to therapy at your own pace. We will spend time understanding your current concerns, relevant life experiences, and the context of your relationships, while also identifying what you hope will feel different as a result of therapy.

Together, we will begin to clarify goals and explore patterns that may be contributing to the challenges you are experiencing. My approach balances thoughtful exploration with practical strategies, so clients often leave the first session with increased insight, a sense of direction, and initial tools to help them feel more grounded.

I strive to create a space that is respectful, nonjudgmental, and emotionally safe, where meaningful change can occur over time.
