Great to meet you!

I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Texas and a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) in New York. I earned my undergraduate degree from Duke University and my Master of Science in Social Work from The University of Texas at Austin.

I've worked in specialty settings focused on anxiety, OCD, and related disorders. In addition to my clinical work, I continue to pursue training in psychodynamic psychotherapy, which helps me understand not only symptoms but also the deeper emotional and relational patterns that shape our lives.

I work with adolescents (13+) and adults experiencing anxiety, OCD, life transitions, chronic illness, relationship difficulties, and recurring patterns that leave them feeling stuck. Many of my clients are thoughtful, insightful people who have tried to "think" their way out of their struggles and are looking for a different path forward.

My approach to therapy

My approach is collaborative and tailored to each person. I integrate psychodynamic therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), and mindfulness-based approaches.

When appropriate, we will develop practical tools to help you manage symptoms and make meaningful changes in your daily life. At the same time, we'll explore the deeper emotional experiences, relationship patterns, and unconscious dynamics that may be contributing to your struggles.

I believe lasting change comes not only from reducing symptoms, but from developing a deeper understanding of yourself. Therapy can be a place to build insight, strengthen resilience, and create more freedom in the way you live and relate to others.

What you can expect from me

The first session is an opportunity for us to get to know each other and determine whether we're a good fit.

I'll ask questions about what brings you to therapy, your current concerns, relevant history, and what you hope to gain from treatment. You'll also have plenty of space to ask questions about my approach and discuss any concerns you may have about starting therapy.

My goal is not to rush into solutions, but to develop a thoughtful understanding of your unique situation. By the end of the session, you'll have a clearer sense of how I work and what our next steps might look like together.
