Great to meet you!

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with nearly 20 years of experience, I provide a warm, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where clients can feel heard and understood. My approach is collaborative and individualized, drawing from evidence-based approaches including CBT, DBT, mindfulness, and motivational interviewing. I have experience working with anxiety, depression, stress, life transitions, self-esteem, emotional regulation, and neurodivergence, including autism. I believe you are the expert on your own life, and my role is to help you gain insight, develop practical tools, navigate challenges, and create meaningful change in a way that feels authentic to you.

My approach to therapy

My clients would describe me as easy to talk to, compassionate, honest, and a great listener. I believe a strong therapeutic relationship begins with a foundation of safety, trust, and genuine connection. I consider it a privilege to be part of each client’s journey toward improving, changing, or maintaining the aspects of life that are important to them. I truly care about the well-being of each person I work with and believe that creating a supportive, growth-focused environment is just as important as the therapeutic approaches and tools we use. It is important to me that my clients know they are heard, valued, and accepted without judgment, and that I believe in their ability to grow and create meaningful change.

What you can expect from me

During our first session, my goal is to get to know you as a person and understand what brings you to therapy, what you would like to work on, and what you hope to gain from the therapeutic process. You can expect a warm, welcoming, and nonjudgmental environment where you can share at your own pace and begin to feel comfortable being yourself. We will begin exploring your strengths, current challenges, and goals for therapy while discussing how we can work together to support your growth and well-being. Most importantly, I want you to leave your first session feeling heard, understood, and hopeful about the journey ahead.
