Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Jennifer Horn, a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Florida. I earned my Master’s degree in Counseling from Reformed Theological Seminary and have experience supporting individuals through a variety of emotional, behavioral, and life challenges. I work with clients experiencing anxiety, stress, life transitions, relationship challenges, burnout, and difficulties with emotional regulation.

My approach to therapy is warm, collaborative, and practical. I believe counseling should be a space where you feel heard and supported, while also gaining tools that can help you create meaningful change in your everyday life.

My approach to therapy

I draw from evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), while tailoring treatment to each client’s unique needs, strengths, and goals. When desired by the client, I am also comfortable incorporating faith and spirituality into the counseling process.

My goal is to create a supportive, nonjudgmental environment where you can better understand yourself, develop healthier coping strategies, and move toward the life and relationships you want.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another and begin identifying what you would like to gain from therapy. I strive to create a warm, welcoming, and nonjudgmental space where you can share at your own pace and feel comfortable being yourself.

We’ll talk about what brought you to counseling, the challenges you’re currently experiencing, and what you hope will be different as a result of our work together. From there, we’ll begin developing realistic and meaningful goals tailored to your needs.

You can expect therapy with me to be collaborative and practical. My goal is for you to feel heard and supported while also leaving sessions with greater insight, helpful coping strategies, and clear steps toward the changes you want to make.
