Great to meet you!

Are you an adult struggling with anxiety, depression, or bipolar disorder that makes it difficult to manage your emotions, maintain relationships, or enjoy everyday life? You deserve support, understanding, and care tailored to your needs. I am a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC). I support adults experiencing anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, and other mood-related challenges. I understand that these concerns can affect your relationships, work, confidence, and overall well-being. My goal is to create a warm, welcoming, and judgment-free space where you feel comfortable sharing your experiences and concerns. I believe effective mental health care begins with listening and understanding your unique story. Together, we will explore your concerns and develop a personalized treatment plan that aligns with your needs and goals. Whether you are seeking help managing anxiety, finding relief from depression, or navigating the emotional challenges of bipolar disorder, I am here to support you on your journey toward improved mental health and a better quality of life.

My approach to therapy

My approach to care is compassionate, collaborative, and tailored to your individual needs. I use evidence-based methods, including medication management, supportive therapy, psychoeducation, and cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) techniques when appropriate. During our sessions, we will explore your concerns, identify patterns that may affect your mental health, and discuss practical strategies to help you manage symptoms and improve daily functioning. My experience in psychiatric care has taught me the importance of listening, building trust, and treating each person as an individual. I believe you should be an active participant in your care, so we will work together to establish meaningful goals, review treatment options, and adjust your plan as needed. My goal is to help you feel supported, empowered, and confident in your mental health journey.

What you can expect from me

During our first session, we will begin with a welcoming, one-on-one conversation where you can feel comfortable sharing your concerns without fear of judgment. The session will include a comprehensive review of your mental health history, current symptoms, personal experiences, and treatment goals. I will ask questions to better understand your needs, explain my approach to care, and discuss appropriate treatment options, including medication management when indicated. You will have time to ask questions, express your concerns, and share what you hope to achieve through treatment. You are an active participant in your care, and we will work together to make decisions that align with your needs and preferences. You do not have to share everything at once or have all the answers before your appointment. My goal is to help you feel heard, respected, and at ease as we begin your mental health journey together.
