Great to meet you!

I believe good therapy starts with feeling understood, but it shouldn't stop there. With 13 years of experience, I work with adults and older adults across a wide range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, stress, relationship and family challenges, substance use, and major life changes.

My style is affirming, empowering, and solution-oriented. I'll create space for you to talk openly about what's going on while also helping you identify patterns, recognize your strengths, and find practical ways to move forward. My goal is for therapy to feel supportive while also giving you tools and insight that make a meaningful difference outside of our sessions.

My approach to therapy

I don't believe therapy should look exactly the same for everyone. I want to understand what you're experiencing, what matters most to you, and what you'd like to change before deciding together what may be most helpful. We'll explore patterns and experiences that may be contributing to current challenges while also building on the strengths you already have.

I draw from Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Cognitive Processing Therapy. Our work will balance insight with practical strategies, so therapy isn't only about understanding what's happening, but also helping you decide what to do with that understanding.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is a chance for us to get to know one another and understand what you're hoping to gain from therapy. We'll talk about what brought you in, what's been difficult, what's already working, and what you'd like to be different. You don't need to arrive knowing exactly where to begin.

You can expect me to be engaged, supportive, and honest throughout our work together. I'll listen without judgment, ask thoughtful questions, and help you recognize both the challenges you're facing and the strengths you can build on. My hope is that our work helps you develop greater clarity, confidence, and practical tools you can carry into everyday life.
