Great to meet you!

Hi! My name is Jennifer Joireman and I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor. I've been in the field for over 20 years and I love what I do. I enjoy guiding people through the therapy process to help them achieve their goals. While I focus on family and relationship issues, I only work with adults individually.

My approach to therapy

I'm a humanistic therapist first and foremost. I place primary importance on the counseling relationship. I tend to utilize family history in all of my sessions because I feel it is relevant to who we are today. For certain issues, I will utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy or Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. All of my therapy takes into consideration a trauma history.

What you can expect from me

I typically spend the first 3 - 4 sessions getting to know my clients. During that time I will assess their strengths and develop treatment goals with them.
