Great to meet you!
As a person who has always been drawn to helping others, I strive to create a space where people feel heard, understood, and supported. I believe healing begins when someone knows they have a supportive person walking alongside them through life's challenges.
My own experience navigating a serious chronic illness reinforced the importance of compassionate, validating care. During that time, my counselor was one of the few people who recognized that something was truly wrong, and that experience continues to shape the way I practice today. I strive to provide the same sense of understanding and hope to my clients.
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) who works with adults experiencing anxiety, trauma, grief, end-of life concerns, chronic illness, relationship concerns, and life transitions. I have extensive experience working with individuals living with chronic medical conditions, as well as first responders, healthcare professionals, military personnel, sex workers and members of the LGBTQ+ community. I also work with clients navigating sexual concerns, including those related to trauma, abuse, intimacy, and identity, providing a respectful, nonjudgmental environment where all aspects of a client's experience can be discussed openly.
One of the primary trauma treatments I utilize is Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), an evidence-based approach that has helped many clients process traumatic and distressing experiences, so those memories no longer feel as overwhelming or limiting. My goal is to help clients move beyond surviving and begin living more fully, with greater confidence, resilience, and hope.
