Hi, my name is Jenn! I have clinical licenses for social work and alcohol and drug counseling, and I have worked with people from many backgrounds and ages. I have extensive experience counseling patients with many different challenges, including learning issues, family dynamics, life-altering events, and personal struggles. My goal is to help my clients work toward improving their lives and overcoming the challenges they are facing.
I think it is really important to make sure clients feel heard, understood and not be judged while working towards solutions together. I enjoy being able to laugh with my clients, support them through challenging emotions, and allow them to lead where they want to make improvements in their lives. When working with children, I value the parents' input and involve them in the process of their child's treatment.
Clients can expect to have a better understanding of patterns in their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. Together, the client and I will develop effective strategies for managing the challenges they are facing.
