Great to meet you!

I have always had a deeply empathetic nature, a curious spirit, and a lifelong desire to help others. I began my journey by earning a master’s degree in marriage and family therapy at Philip’s Graduate University. I completed my training in a variety of settings, including a community counseling center; a substance abuse treatment facility, treating a dual-diagnosis, forensic population; and a foster care placement facility.

My approach to therapy

I enjoy working with adults through the complexities of life transitions, relationship issues, and chronic stress management. I utilize an eclectic approach to therapy that is, above all else, client-centered, empathetic, and judgment-free. When appropriate, I like to incorporate humor and lightheartedness into sessions. Change can be a difficult process, but I believe the therapeutic space should be a place where you are free to be your genuine self.

What you can expect from me

My goal is to help empower clients to deepen their understanding and awareness of self, facilitate personal growth, build and maintain healthier interpersonal relationships, and overcome emotional and mental obstacles. I encourage feedback during our time together; this is your journey, and I am here to walk beside you, wherever that may lead.
