Great to meet you!

I'm a warm, empathic, creative therapist, with a goofy sense of humor that gets me through the day. I have ten years of experience in individual and family therapy, addressing depression, anxiety, relational issues, learning & developmental issues, abuse and domestic violence, and LGBTQAI+ issues. I pay close attention to body language and tone and will ask you about what I observe.

My approach to therapy

I'm here to listen before anything else. You are the expert on yourself and if I’m not learning from you, then I’ve already lost the thread. My aim is to help you find a new perspective on the previous chapters of your life as well as to change the way you are approaching today’s and tomorrow’s. To use acknowledgment, laughter, bodily wisdom, new coping skills and your already-present strengths to heal and move forward differently.

I am a strengths-based, humanistic therapist.

What you can expect from me

I'll adjust according to what you bring to therapy and what you want out of it. You should walk away from each session with a small glimmer of fresh insight - into yourself, your patterns, your relationships, your strengths, hopes, and challenges. Creativity is one pathway to healing and I will incorporate art and writing into sessions or homework, if you're interested!
