Hello, my name is Jennifer Lennon. I have my LCSW-R. I am honored to support and guide people through their process of healing.
I have been a clinical therapist for 20 years. During my career I have run therapeutic groups, provided individual and family therapy, crisis intervention, auditing and worked with people of all ages. I currently work as a social worker in a high school and love working with teens.
I believe the therapeutic relationship is important in order to create a safe place for healing to begin. I have been trained and utilize trauma focused and cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, advanced mindfulness techniques and motivational interviewing. I come from a strength based, holistic and systems approach. I use person centered, solution focused, trauma informed techniques to help facilitate positive change and acceptance.
After we build a therapeutic alliance and treatment goals the real work can begin. The sessions should feel useful and supportive. I am increasing my private practice hours as I see there is a need for mental health services and I would be honored to help you!
