Great to meet you!

Hello! My name is Jenny and I'm a neurodivergent LCSW who loves working with adolescents and adults! I have worked in a variety of mental health settings including PHP's, non-for-profits, and private practice. Through these experiences, I have found my therapeutic niche which is working with the neurodivergent community and supporting their needs through unique and sculpted therapeutic techniques.

My approach to therapy

I have truly realized that the "one-size-fits-all" approach does not actually work for most individuals. I alter and adapt my approaches to the needs of the client by considering past experiences, goals, and their personality of course! Some modalities and interventions that I adapt include: CBT, DBT, ACT, mindfulness, psychodynamic, interpersonal therapy, motivational interviewing, and humanistic therapy.

What you can expect from me

We will always start with a introductory session where I will take the opportunity to learn about you and you can learn a bit more about me! For me personally, this is one of the most important steps in the therapeutic relationship. We will work together on acknowledging what you hope to achieve with therapy and how we will get there! I do this all through a welcome, warm, and encouraging lens. Our future sessions will change and adjust as we continue working together and figuring out what those needs are. Overall, I am a bubbly, understanding, yet gentle personality. I will do everything in my power to make you as comfortable as possible throughout the process.
