Great to meet you!

I am a licensed independent clinical social worker with over 10 years of experience in virtual outpatient, community and hospital settings, supporting clients through crises, anxiety, depression, grief, relationship issues, life transitions, as well as school and behavioral issues. I specialize in treating adolescents and transitional age youth (ages 15 to 26) however I provide therapy to clients of all ages.

My style is open, relational and collaborative. I provide sessions virtually to make therapy more accessible and comfortable, and I strive to create a safe, supportive

and non-judgmental setting.

My goal is to support you in overcoming obstacles to emotional well-being, discovering strengths, building resilience, and to help you develop the tools, confidence and understanding to facilitate positive change.

My approach to therapy

My approach is eclectic, flexible and aimed at developing strategies to effectively address life’s challenges. Depending on individual’s needs, I draw from trauma informed, psychodynamic, solution focused and goal-oriented perspectives, as well as from mindfulness, ACT, and CBT.

What you can expect from me

I offer brief complimentary consultations to discuss your concerns and general goals for therapy, to make an initial assessment of whether I might be the right person to meet your specific needs, and to discuss scheduling. If we decide we are a match, the first session will entail completing an intake so that I can begin to get to know you, and we can start thinking about goal setting. I accept private pay clients, BCBS of MA Point 32 Healthcare (most Tufts plans and Harvard Pilgrim), Cigna, Aetna, Carelon, Quest and Horizon BCBS of New Jersey. I am pending with BCBS of MA Medicare Advantage, BCBS of RI, BCBS of RI Medicare Advantage and Optum.
