Jennifer Lopez

Hello and welcome! I am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in Florida. I have been trained in trauma informed care, and I am a certified clinical trauma professional. As a clinician, I practice with a person-centered approach. I have experience in working with school aged children, adolescents, young adults, adults, and families with a variety of mental health issues. I also have experience in advocating and working with survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, and other traumas.

Starting therapy can be scary and intimidating. The first step is curiosity, and look at you- you’re doing your research right now! I will always follow your pace, and want to make sure that you as my client feels comfortable and safe during therapy. Looking forward to doing some amazing work together!

I can provide treatment in English and in Spanish. As a clinician, my main focus in treatment is helping the client heal, increase self-compassion, and help gain new healthy perspective of self.

My goal is to help create a safe environment for clients to express their thoughts and feelings. I will follow your lead.
