Great to meet you!

Healing is possible, even when trauma, anxiety, or a chronic health condition has made that hard to believe. I'm Jennifer, a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with 17 years of experience. I work with women and adults who are carrying depression, anxiety, ADHD, or the kind of stress that has stopped feeling temporary, along with the relationship strain that often comes with life's harder seasons. Some of my clients have been managing a chronic health condition for years and have started to wonder whether feeling better is still on the table. You don't need to have it all figured out before you reach out. If you're ready to begin, I'd love to connect.

My approach to therapy

Taking the first step toward therapy takes courage, and I don't take that lightly. I believe you are the expert on your own life, and my role is to offer a supportive, trauma-informed space where you can understand yourself more clearly, reflect on what you've lived through, and move toward the life you want to build. Our work together is collaborative. We'll look at the patterns that keep repeating, build on the strengths you already have, and work through what's in front of you at a pace that feels manageable rather than overwhelming.

What you can expect from me

Sessions are low-pressure. Early on, we spend time getting to know each other in a warm space and you share what feels comfortable about why you're here and what you're hoping for. From there, you can expect to leave sessions with a clearer sense of your own patterns, language for things that have been hard to name, and something specific to sit with or try before we meet again. Some weeks bring relief and some surface something harder, and both are part of the work. What stays consistent is that you're not sorting through it alone.
