Great to meet you!

I am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with 26 years of experience in a variety of settings. I graduated from Chapman University in 2000 with a master’s degree in psychology. My experience includes inpatient mental health, outpatient work with adults, children and families, as well as, homeless outreach and crisis stabilization. My passion is to help others reach their full potential by identifying individual strengths and helping to build resilience and connection.

My approach to therapy

My approach is person centered. I believe that you are the expert in your own life and I want to help you reach your goals in a way that is respectful and sustainable. While I believe that the past is important, I also try to focus on moving forward in a healthy way. As human beings we all experience setbacks and losses. Finding compassionate support in these times is important to our overall well-being.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, I want us to get to know each other by talking about expectations and goals. I want to tell you about my role in the therapy sessions so that you can determine if we are a good fit. I will also be interested in what has worked in the past and what has not so that together we can begin to move forward.
