Great to meet you!

Hi, I'm Jen and I am a licensed professional counselor, Christian, friend, mentor, wife, and mother of four. I am warm, kind, real, and compassionate. I work to honor your courage to be vulnerable and will do my best to meet you where you're at. The power of support, encouragement, and feeling seen can give us the comfort and peace we desperately seek. Feeling grounded can then lead to better decisions and renewed hope.

My approach to therapy

I offer a person-centered approach which includes empathy, validation, compassion, and curiosity vs judgment. Other approaches I am trained in include Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Solution Focused Brief Therapy, Internal Family Systems, EMDR, and counseling from a Christian worldview. I also have training in Lakota culture. We will work together to find what works best for you and your situation.

What you can expect from me

I am authentic and encourage you to be as well. Feeling supported, encouraged, and understood can lead to renewed hope, increased sense of peace, and better overall well-being. Asking for help takes courage and I want to honor the bravery it takes to be vulnerable.
