Great to meet you!

I have spent the last 10 years in public education, working as a secondary math and Special Education teacher before going into the counseling profession. I started my counseling career as a Crisis Intervention Counselor in an urban school district at the elementary and secondary level. I have clinical experience from working as a therapist, providing free counseling services to children and their families, as well as staff members in the district.

A bit about my approach to therapy

I am trained in Child Centered Play Therapy, as well as specialize in treating trauma, anxiety, depression, and suicidality. I am very passionate about working with children, teens, and adults at all stages of life. I believe in meeting my clients where they are and view my role as a guide in their journey to be a more authentic version of themselves.

What you can expect from our first session

I believe you are the expert on yourself and I am the expert in mental health. You can expect a warm, welcoming environment where we will work together to confront your deepest concerns. Together, we establish your therapeutic goals and work to meet those goals every session.
