Great to meet you!

The journey we are on in life is winding and often difficult at times. The Owner’s manual even assures us that we will face trouble on our journey through this world (John 16:33). Often enough it takes courage to stay on the path and keep moving, and yet even in spite of our best efforts we may still at times find ourselves in a rut or faced with a road block. Perhaps we need recalibration, or tools; maybe a map, a few directions, or even a short lift, to continue to move in the direction of our values. With the education and experience I have been blessed with in the field of psychotherapy, I am excited to serve my community in coming alongside individuals wherever they are on their life’s journey. Over my 14 years of practice as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, earning your trust and helping you establish a secure, empowering baseline for your care has been a profound privilege. I specialize in supporting preteens, adolescents, adults, and seniors who are navigating anxiety, trauma, neurodivergence, women's issues, grief, and complex life transitions.

My approach to therapy

I believe that genuine emotional growth flourishes when we balance rigorous, evidence-based practices with a deeply authentic human connection. I utilize EMDR, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and other therapeutic modalities with a strengths-based approach and from a faith-based perspective to assist clients as they move toward healing and reduction of suffering. In my role as a therapist, I desire to mutually work together with individuals on a plan that will address their specific needs and set attainable goals to help reach their next desired destination. By drawing from these clinical tools alongside Christian counseling principles when requested, my ultimate goal is to help you build practical coping skills, rediscover your resilience, and experience a meaningful reduction in your daily suffering.

What you can expect from me

Reaching out for support takes immense courage, and my hope is that our initial telehealth meeting acts as a quiet refuge where you can safely step away from the heavy demands of daily stress. During our first session, I strive to cultivate a calm, non-judgmental environment right from the start. We will gently explore your history, symptoms, and the specific challenges bringing you to therapy at a natural, comfortable pace without any pressure to share everything all at once. My primary focus is ensuring you feel fully heard and validated as we collaboratively design a clear roadmap tailored entirely to your client-centered goals, laying the spiritual and emotional groundwork for your continued journey.
