Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a Bachelor of Arts from Cal State Long Beach, where I graduated cum laude, and a Master of Social Work from the University of Southern California. My clinical background includes addiction treatment, private practice, and community mental health, with experience supporting perinatal clients, trauma survivors, and individuals involved in the justice system.

I often meet people at times when they’re feeling lost, isolated, overwhelmed, or unsure of their next step. My role is to help you make sense of the patterns and narratives shaping these experiences and to support you in building stability, clarity, and a renewed sense of purpose. I use EMDR, Narrative Therapy, and trauma-responsive interventions in a direct and grounded way to facilitate meaningful, sustainable change.

My approach to therapy

My approach is direct, steady, and open-minded. I work to understand the patterns, beliefs, and reactions influencing a client’s experience and provide clear, grounded feedback. When someone feels stuck or caught in a loop, I help identify what is contributing to that pattern and support them in shifting it. When someone is progressing, we focus on strengthening what is already working. I aim to create an environment that is compassionate, structured, and clinically focused without becoming repetitive or unproductive.

I draw from a broad range of clinical approaches. I am trained in EMDR, Narrative Therapy, Gottman Method, and EFT for couples, and I integrate trauma-focused, behavioral, relational, and attachment-based interventions as appropriate. I am trained in recovery based programs for substance use as well as 12-step recovery. My work also reflects ongoing training related to anxiety, regulation, and neurobiological patterns. I do not rely on a single modality; I tailor treatment to the individual or couple and to the goals they are working toward.

My goal is to support clarity, stability, and meaningful forward movement. Therapy with me is collaborative, practical, and grounded in clinical judgment, with an emphasis on keeping the work focused, relevant, and effective.

What you can expect from me

In the first session, my focus is on understanding what brings you in and what you would like to work toward. We review your history, current concerns, and any patterns you have already noticed. I ask clear, practical questions so I can get an accurate sense of what is happening and how to approach it.

The pace is steady and grounded. There is no pressure to share more than you are ready for, and there is no expectation to have everything figured out. We identify your immediate needs, outline next steps, and discuss what treatment may look like moving forward.

My office is private, calm, and comfortable, and my goal is for the first session to feel organized, manageable, and supportive — a place where we can start the work without overwhelm or confusion. Couples therapy is offered on a private-pay basis only.
