Great to meet you!

With over 20 years of experience in social work across medical, mental health, and hospice settings, Jennifer brings both extensive clinical expertise and genuine compassion to every session. Throughout her career, she has been dedicated to supporting children, adolescents, and families as they navigate life's challenges with confidence and resilience.

Jennifer specializes in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and using a strengths-based, person-centered approach tailored to each child's unique needs, personality, and goals. She believes that every child has the capacity to grow and thrive when they feel understood, supported, and empowered.

Jennifer strives to create a safe, welcoming environment where children, teens and families can express themselves openly while building practical skills to manage emotions, strengthen relationships, and overcome obstacles. She partners closely with families, recognizing that lasting change happens when caregivers feel supported and involved throughout the therapeutic process.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is compassionate, collaborative, and evidence based. I believe therapy isn't about achieving perfection—it's about making meaningful progress and helping each person build the skills they need to navigate life's challenges with confidence. I use a strengths-based, person-centered approach, incorporating Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to meet each client where they are. Together, we'll identify your strengths, develop practical coping strategies, and work toward lasting emotional growth, resilience, and overall well-being in a safe, supportive environment.

What you can expect from me

During our first session, we'll spend time getting to know one another in a comfortable, supportive environment. I'll learn about your strengths, challenges, and the concerns that brought your family to therapy, while also taking time to answer any questions you may have. My goal is to help you feel safe, heard, and understood from the very beginning. Together, we'll discuss your goals for therapy and create a personalized plan that supports your emotional growth, resilience, and overall well-being.
