Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP) with over 11 years of clinical experience providing individual, family and group psychotherapy for a myriad of mental health challenges. These include but are not limited to anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, stress, conflict, relationships, self-harm, suicidal ideations, personality disorders, and challenges faced in the LGBTQ+ community.

My approach to therapy

I firmly believe our mental health is as important as our physical health. Just as we have one body, we also have one mind. I help clients improve their mental health and well-being and become the best versions of themselves through a compassionate, empathetic, and lighthearted (when appropriate) approach. Using a neuro-psychological approach to mental health and treatment, it is my hope to reduce the stigma and normalize mental health challenges from a scientific perspective.

What you can expect from me

A choice phrase of mine is "This is your session". I believe it is important for the client to actively engage in the identification of goals and the ways in which they would like their lives to be different. Through evidenced-based techniques and interventions, clients walk away from sessions with their own “tools” to put in their “toolbox”, which will assist in navigating life’s challenges and achieving personal success.
