Great to meet you!

I support kids and adults 8+ and older experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, emotional dysregulation, behavioral concerns, and stressors, with a specialty in helping adolescents, young adults and adults.

If you or your are struggling with emotional regulation, big feelings, knowing how to regulate, school or work stress, issues navigating peer relationships, work place relationships, ongoing worry, focus, patience and wanting to change patterns- I am the therapist for you. I am looking forward to connecting and supporting you,

My approach to therapy

  • I help clients better understand their thoughts, emotions, and patterns while building coping skills that feel useful in real life. I use CBT and a client-centered approach, and I tailor therapy to where each person is in their journey. With 20 years of school counseling experience, I also bring a strong understanding of how emotional struggles can affect school, family life, relationships, and confidence.
  • I want to get to know you. I am very laid back and believe therapy should have some humor and laughter. If we can't laugh at ourselves, who can we laugh at? We become resilient together.

What you can expect from me

I always start our first session as an introductory session where we meet and you share your concerns and goals for the future. You will have the opportunity to meet me and decide if I am the right fit for you. Together we will begin our journey.

Many individuals are afraid to start counseling, unsure of what to expect. I let my clients set the pace, use humor, and build a partnership. Face your fear. Together we can make goals a reality.
