Great to meet you!
I am an individual therapist who works with adults (18 and over) and believes in the definition of recovery as “a process of change through which people improve their health and wellness, live self-directed lives, and strive to reach their full potential”. -SAMHSA.gov
I am well versed in issues associated with Adult Children of Alcoholics/Dysfunctional Families (ACOA), codependency, family of origin, grief & loss, chronic illness, career development, identity crises and significant life transitions.
I specialize in early and long-term recovery from substance use, co-occurring disorders, mood disorders and anxiety.
I also offer counseling to family members whose loved ones are struggling with substance use and/or a mental health condition.
I am a professional counselor licensed in Pennsylvania. I earned a master's degree in Clinical and Counseling Psychology from Chestnut Hill College. I spent my internship and the first 6 years in the field working in drug and alcohol facilities, including methadone. I am trained in co-occurring disorders (substance use and mental health) and trauma.
