Great to meet you!

Hello, and welcome. I’m Jennifer, a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner dedicated to providing compassionate, evidence-based mental health care across the lifespan. I earned my Master of Science in Nursing with a specialization in psychiatric mental health and have clinical experience supporting individuals facing anxiety, depression, ADHD, mood disorders, trauma-related concerns, stress, and life transitions.

I have a particular interest in working with individuals managing ADHD and related comorbid conditions such as anxiety, depression, sleep concerns, and emotional regulation challenges. My goal is to help clients better understand their symptoms, strengthen coping strategies, and improve daily functioning and overall wellbeing.

My approach is collaborative, respectful, and individualized. I believe mental health care works best when clients feel heard, safe, and actively involved in treatment decisions. I combine medication management, supportive therapy, psychoeducation, and holistic strategies to promote emotional stability, resilience, and improved quality of life.

I strive to create a welcoming, non-judgmental space where clients can openly discuss their concerns. Whether you’re seeking support for a specific mental health challenge or simply looking to enhance your wellbeing, I’m here to partner with you on your journey.

My approach to therapy

My approach to care is collaborative, compassionate, and individualized. I believe effective mental health treatment begins with building a trusting, non-judgmental relationship where clients feel heard, respected, and actively involved in their care. I work closely with each client to understand their unique experiences, goals, and challenges, then develop treatment plans tailored to their needs.

I provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluation, medication management, psychoeducation, and supportive therapeutic interventions. I have a particular interest in working with individuals managing ADHD and common comorbid conditions such as anxiety, depression, mood disorders, stress, and life transitions. My focus is helping clients improve emotional regulation, daily functioning, and overall wellbeing.

I also incorporate holistic and practical strategies, emphasizing coping skills, lifestyle balance, and self-awareness. My goal is to empower clients with the tools, knowledge, and support they need to achieve stability, resilience, and meaningful progress in their mental health journey.

What you can expect from me

During our first session, my primary goal is to get to know you and understand what brings you to care. We’ll discuss your current concerns, mental health history, lifestyle factors, and any goals you have for treatment. This initial conversation helps me develop a comprehensive understanding of your needs so we can create a personalized care plan together.

You can expect a supportive, respectful, and non-judgmental environment where you feel safe sharing openly at your own pace. I’ll answer your questions, provide education when helpful, and collaborate with you on next steps, which may include treatment options, coping strategies, or medication considerations if appropriate.

By the end of the session, most clients leave with greater clarity about their mental health, an initial treatment direction, and reassurance that they have a partner in their care. My goal is for you to feel heard, understood, and confident about moving forward together.
