Great to meet you!

Hello! I am Jennifer Oliver, a licensed clinical social worker. I have practiced in the field since 2012 where I worked primarily in grief and loss. I then returned to graduate school and began practicing at an advanced level since 2017. I have worked in Behavioral Health inpatient and outpatient treatment settings since this time.

My approach to therapy

My mission as your therapist is to provide a safe, non-judgmental space that allows for processing, goal setting and skills development to help achieve goals. I can assist with perspective and increasing insight. Our sessions will be a safe space to process out loud in order to gain clarity and healing. We will explore the areas you would like to improve and set attainable goals to reach them.

What you can expect from me

Goals will involve learning new skills that help to regulate depression, anxiety, stress, grief/loss and trauma. We will also explore increasing self-esteem through a lens of self-compassion. Sessions are a safe space to just process our thoughts and emotions such as how our past can influence our present and future. Through this layered approach my goal is you are left feeling a little lighter and with tangible skills that you can easily apply in your day-to-day life.
