Great to meet you!

I’m Jenni, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 15 years of experience in mental health and clinical practice. Throughout my career, I’ve had the privilege of working with individuals from diverse backgrounds and supporting clients through a wide range of challenges, including anxiety, depression, PTSD, OCD, infertility issues, trauma, grief and loss, relationship and family concerns, life transitions, and self-esteem.

I believe that reaching out for therapy is a meaningful first step, and I want my clients to feel welcomed, heard, and accepted from the very beginning. I bring warmth, energy, compassion, and genuine curiosity to my work, and I especially enjoy helping women build confidence, strengthen self-esteem, and reconnect with their sense of self.

Outside of therapy, I enjoy spending time with my husband, family, friends, and my dog, Dixie. We love being outdoors—gardening, kayaking, hiking, and swimming—which is a big part of what keeps me grounded and energized.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is warm, collaborative, strength-based, and individualized. I believe you are the expert on your own life, and my role is to provide a safe, supportive space where we can work together to understand what you’re experiencing and identify what you need to move forward.

I draw from several therapeutic approaches, including Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Client-Centered Therapy. I tailor these approaches to each individual rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach.

Together, we may work on developing healthier coping skills, managing anxiety or difficult emotions, improving relationships, processing past experiences, building self-esteem, setting boundaries, or navigating changes and challenges in your life. My goal is to help you recognize your strengths, feel more empowered, and develop practical tools that you can carry with you beyond the therapy room.

Most importantly, I want therapy to feel like a place where you can be your authentic self—without judgment and without needing to have everything figured out.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another and begin creating a comfortable, trusting therapeutic relationship. We’ll talk about what brought you to therapy, what you’ve been experiencing, and what you hope to gain from our work together.

You don’t need to come in with everything figured out, and you don’t need to know exactly what you want to talk about. We’ll take the conversation at a pace that feels comfortable for you.

I’ll also answer any questions you have about therapy and my approach. Together, we’ll begin identifying your goals and discussing how I can best support you. My hope is that you leave your first session feeling heard, respected, and a little more hopeful about the possibility of things getting better.
