Great to meet you!

Welcome! Taking the step to seek support takes real courage, and you don’t have to carry life’s heaviest moments alone. As an LCSW providing online therapy from the comfort of your own space, I offer a warm, open‐minded, solution‐focused approach—always meeting you where you are, without judgment. Together, we will honor your unique lived experience and use evidence‐based tools (like ACT and CBT) to tackle complex challenges.

A bit about me: I’m a mother of two adult children and a proud grandmother, roles that have shaped my understanding of resilience, compassion, and the many seasons of life. My home is full of energy thanks to my four large fur babies, and yes—I’m also a mother of dragons (bearded dragons), who bring their own quirky charm to my world. These parts of my life keep me grounded, playful, and deeply connected to the importance of nurturing relationships.

Thank you for letting me be part of your journey to rebuild hope, overcome stubborn barriers, and move mountains. I’d be honored to walk alongside you as you create meaningful change and rediscover your strength.

My approach to therapy

Therapy with me is an active, collaborative partnership designed around your strengths rather than your struggles. I integrate Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) within an empowering, trauma-informed framework to help you navigate real-world challenges:

  • Meeting You Where You Are: I offer an open-minded, non-judgmental environment where your lived experience is respected and deeply valued.
  • Empowerment & Borrowed Courage: When situations feel heavy or overwhelming, I lend 'borrowed courage' to help you tap into your own resilience and reclaim self-trust.
  • Practical & Solution-Focused: Rather than staying stuck in the problem, we focus on developing actionable skills, psychological flexibility, and practical tools you can use immediately.
  • Values-Centered Direction: We align your therapeutic work with what truly matters to you, turning personal values into concrete steps for sustainable change.

What you can expect from me

Starting therapy can feel intimidating, so our first session is intentionally low-pressure, welcoming, and paced entirely to your comfort. Here is what you can look forward to:

  • A Safe, Comfortable Space: From the privacy and ease of your own environment, we will settle in, make sure you're comfortable, and review practical expectations.
  • Sharing Your Story at Your Pace: You share only what you feel ready to share. We will explore what prompted you to seek support, the challenges you are facing, and what matters most to you right now.
  • Clarifying Your Goals: We will begin shaping a clear, solution-focused vision for our work together—identifying what relief, growth, or progress looks like for your everyday life.
  • A Practical Takeaway: You will leave our first session with clarity on our next steps and at least one grounding tool or perspective to support you right away.
